Evelyn Stephenson Saunders Peek

Evelyn Stephenson Saunders Peek, 93, formerly of Rockingham, passed away Monday,  September 7, 2020 at Huntersville Oaks in Huntersville.

Mrs. Peek was born January 19, 1927 in Rock Hill, SC, a daughter of the late Lee Stephenson and Etta Still Stephenson Perry. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and had worked with J P Stevens and L’Eggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Lonnie Saunders and Emory Peek, and brothers. Ernest and Raymond Perry.

Surviving are her daughter, Marlene Saunders of Albemarle.

Graveside services will be at 11 am Friday, September 11, 2020 at Richmond County Memorial Park. Face coverings are required, and social distancing should be observed.
