Eliza English Robson

Eliza English Robson, 91, of Bennettsville passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

She was born on March 15, 1930 in Marlboro County, SC a daughter of the late Lonnie and Litlie Paul English. She was a home maker and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband Colie  Robson; her daughters Alma Louise Robson, Nancy Elaine Robson, Ann Helms and son James Melvin “Toaster” Robson.

Surviving are her children, Donnie Robson (Barbara) of Ellerbe, J.C. Robson of the home, Marshall Lynn”Pete”Robson (Lisa V) of Chesterfield, SC, Monnie Willoughby (Johnny) of Rockingham, Mary Helen Herndon of Hamlet; brothers James Carl English, Wesley English; sister, Ida Norton; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday at Steen Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Robson officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday June 11, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
