Elaine Deal Rankin

Elaine Deal Rankin, 76, of Ellerbe, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.

Elaine was born October 3, 1947 in Mecklenburg County, a daughter of the late James H. and Katherine Brock Deal. She worked in Marketing for several years, loved cooking, painting and taking care of animals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Pigford. 

Surviving are her husband, Pressley R. Rankin, III; children, Pressley R. “Rob” Rankin, IV (Hari Gonzalez) and Katherine R. Press (Jeremy); grandson, Jayden and siblings, Deborah Downing and James Deal.

All services will be held privately.
