Elaine Wallace Cagle

She was born in Richmond County on July 20, 1946, a daughter of the late Charlie James and Ruth English Wallace. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Eddie L. Cagle, brother Charlie James Wallace, Jr. sisters Lucy Hammond and Carolyn Drye. 

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, she enjoyed working with the children in the church and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She retired from Richmond County soil and water conservation after working 30 plus years.

Elaine is survived by her son Eddie L. Cagle Jr. and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Luke Cagle, Natalie Cagle and sister Mary Richardson all of Rockingham.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Butch Park Officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends and family  from 1:30pm to 2:30pm at the church prior to the service.
