Edith Benoist Henry

Edith Grey Benoist Henry went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Hospice Haven. She was born on August 2, 1936 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Homer Davis Benoist and Frances Currie Benoist.  She attended West Rockingham United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Henry, Jr. and a sister Carolyn B. Jenkins.

Surviving Mrs. Henry are her children, Stephen Henry, III(Terry) of Hamlet and Myra H. Sanford of Rockingham; grandchildren, Anna S. Betts(Josh), Cory W. Sanford(Rosie); great-granddaughter Sawyer L. Betts; and sisters, Jean B. Anderson(Reece) and Kay B. Cook(Bert).

The family will have a private memorial service due to the Coved-19 regulations and

at other times the family will gather at the home of her son in Hamlet, NC.
