Doris Elizabeth Quick

Doris Elizabeth Quick, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Doris was a native of Rockingham and had been a resident of Dahlia Gardens in Aberdeen for several years. 

She was born August 23, 1948 to the late Edmund Boyd and Rosa Berry Quick. She enjoyed making jewelry, coloring and painting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Edward Quick, Ruth Lamonds, Alice Quick, and Beatrice Bowman.

She is survived by her sister, Minnie Thompson (George) and many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. 

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Friday, June 14, 2024 at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Joe B. Wilkes, Jr. officiating.
