Donald Reid Taylor, 59 of Rockingham passed away on June 11, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Donald was born on January 14, 1961 in Richmond County a son of the late Jimmy Ray Taylor, Sr. and Sarah Garris Taylor.

Donald was a self-employed building contractor whose specialty was custom cabinet building. He enjoyed restoring cars and making furniture for his home.

 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Katherine Diane Taylor and Janet Taylor Norton.

Surviving are his wife Elizabeth “Lib” Taylor, children Michael Cherry, Jennifer Taylor; grandsons, Kayden Arp and Levi Arp; step-mother Cynthia “Cindy” Taylor, siblings, Jimmy Taylor Jr., Jerry Driggers(Doug), Sara Lewis(Joel), Brenda Bennett(Jim), Mica Romanchock(Kirk)Traci Roscoe(Beverley) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at his home at 2:00 pm.
