Donald Lee Huggins

Donald Lee Huggins Sr., 79, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

Donnie was born August 18, 1941, the son of the late Legrand and Sally Huggins.  He was retired from FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. Donnie loved the Lord and was a lifetime member of East Rockingham Free Will Baptist Church where he served as Assistant Pastor for several years.  He enjoyed traveling, working in his yard and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Brizendine.  He is survived by his wife Sue Moree Huggins; his children, Donald Huggins II (Amy), Carla Byrd (Mark) and Crystal Pressley (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Andrew Huggins, Cameron Smith (Hunter) and Brandon Pressley, plus two great grandchildren Charlotte and Levi.  He is also survived by his sister Barbara Dickinson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday at Richmond Memorial Park with the Rev. Johnny Johnson and the Rev. Carl Moree officiating.
