Delano James Quick

Delano James Quick, 74, of Rockingham, completed his earthly journey on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Mr. Quick was born April 9, 1949 in Richmond County, a son of the late Hal M. and Zeda Mae Sessoms Quick. He had been employed with Owens Illinois and attended Outreach for Jesus when he was able. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, John Quick and Jewell Paul.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Marc Quick-Kuhlmann (Randy), Judith Quick, Robin Luckey, Scott Quick (Tanya), Jamie Quick, Jessica Glass (Rusty), John Quick and Sonya Bridges (Martin) and several great nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating his life will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Outreach for Jesus with Pastor Marvin Taylor officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
