Daphene Axsom Preslar

  Daphene Axsom Preslar, 89  0f Rockingham, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday morning January 27, 2018 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mildred Axsom. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Axsom.   Surviving are her daughter, Susan P. Kelly and husband Kenny C. Kelly and grandson Bo Kelly of Rockingham, NC, daughter Sherri A. Glenn of Denver, NC, and sister Betty A. Huffstetler of Mooresville, NC.   A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly, NC, with the Rev. Tug Gainey Officiating.   The family will receive friends on Monday, January 29, 2018  from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home, in Rockingham and other times at the home.
