Clifton Daivis Gaddy

Clifton Davis “Buddy Ro” Gaddy, 81,  of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. He was born on March 22, 1937 in Richmond county, a son of the late Davis and Frances Simmons Gaddy. He was a U. S. Army Veteran,  a member of Sweet Haven Church,  retired from Perdue, and was self – employed in the janitorial, lawn service and chimney sweep business. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Snag Brigman, and a sister, Maves Kiker.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Cannon Gaddy, his three daughters, Donna Gaddy Parks(Charles), Pam Gaddy Greene(Mike), and Dianna Gaddy Blackwelder;  three grandchildren, Amiee Parks Leviner(Michael), Michael GreeneJr. and Nicole Blackwelder Knight(Stephen); and one great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Leviner; and a sister-in-law, Margie Cannon.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday at Sweet Haven Church, with Pastor Mitchell Roller Officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Eastside Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Sweet Haven Church and other times at the family home.
