Charles Edward Brown

Charles Edward Brown, 67 of Rockingham, NC passed away peacefully with his wife Becky by his side on Monday August 11, 2025.

Born to the late C. T. and Delois Brown on November 14, 1957 in Warwick Georgia. He is also preceded in death by his son Edward Charles “Anthony”.

Charles leaves behind his loving wife Becky Brown of the home, daughter Shelia of Cordele, GA, brothers T.C, Rodney(Ruthie), Teddy, Gary, Man Man, JT, Booney, JR and Talis, sisters Darlene, Armar Jean, Lois Ann, Brenda Campbell and Emma, 5 grandchildren, 2 Great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren on the way. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Charles was a hard worker and loved his job. He loved to go fishing, the Dallas Cowboys, watching wrestling and being involved with his church. He was a blessed and wonderful husband. Most of all he was a wonderful man who loved God and Jesus. He was filled with the Holy Spirit. When you asked him how he was doing he would reply “me good.” If you were cooking or eating he would ask what? And then reply “you know what you have to do, go to Walmart get a stamp and envelope and send me some in the mail.

A celebration of Charles’ life will be held at 2pm at on Monday, August 18, 2025 at First Assembly with Rev. Gene Alexander officiating.
