Catherine Frances McMahon

Catherine Frances McMahon, 55, of Ellerbe passed away Friday July 7, 2023 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Catherine was born December 13, 1967 in Long Island, NY, a daughter of the late Edward and Joan Ott McMahon. She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Frances Fitzgerald, Edward McMahon and Anna McMahon. 

Surviving are her husband, Mark A. Spruill; children, Robert McMahon, Arthur Moore, Samuel Spruill Wills, Mark Spruill Wills, Cathy Spruill Wills, Joan Spruill Wills, LaToya Spruill Wills, and Linda Spruill Wills; 15 grandchildren; siblings, Joan Lumpkin, Theresa Fleming, Linda McMahon, Steven McMahon, Richard McMahon and Frank McMahon; step-children, Bobby Crump, Kevin Hall and Kecionda Morgan; 14 step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. 

The family will hold all services privately.
