Bruce Wayne Smith

Bruce Wayne Smith, 80, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Smith was born December 10, 1942 in Richmond County. A son of the late John H. and Neilia Sessoms Smith, he was a welder with Industrial Sheet Metal and Davis Mechanicals before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Griggs Smith, daughter, Rhonda Smith Outen (Rock), son, Shaun Smith (Candace), daughter, Christie Smith Hutchings (Derek), son, Tommy Wayne Smith (Debbie), grandchildren, Hannah, Korben, Nicholas, Nate, Jeremy and Larson due in August, and brother, Clyde Smith.

Family will greet friends and family on Monday, March 6^th from 4pm - 5pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
