Brenda Whitaker Therrell

Mrs. Brenda Whitaker Therrell went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2026 in Rockingham, North Carolina. Brenda was born on September 1, 1951 in Rockingham, North Carolina.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 57 years, Curtis Therrell; her two nephews, Gary Alvin Williams (Jada), and Michael Lee Williams (Mendy); her great nephew , Alan Michael Williams, her great nieces, Karen Williams and Kennedy Williams; and her great, great niece, Juniper Polk. Brenda was preceded in death by both of her parents, James and Juanita Whitaker; her sister, Margaret Faye Williams; her brother-in-law, Alvin Henry Williams; and her nephew, Daniel Reid Williams.

There will be a visitation at Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to New Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Rockingham, NC.

We are certain that Brenda was welcomed with open arms by her loved ones who went before her. Brenda was always there for her nephews and treated them like they were her own.
