Belton "Billy" Wright Walters

Mr. Walters was born November 28, 1939 in Hoke County, NC. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a member of First Assembly of God and a collector of Bibles. He served as a chaplain at FirstHealth – Richmond for 10 years and was the owner and operator of a commercial lawn care company.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Wilson Walters; children, Dr. Christopher Hall (Rhoda), Ramona Stallworth (James), Cynthia Cashatt, James Hall and Matthew Hall (Kim); ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Pastor Gene Alexander officiating. He will be interred privately in Richmond County Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends from 12:45 -1:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
