Barbara Pankey Poston

Barbara Pankey Poston, 65, of Rockingham, completed her earthly journey Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Barbara was born March 18, 1956 in Darmstadt, Germany, a daughter of the late Walter Daniel Pankey, Jr and Elsbeth Piwonski Pankey. She had retired from Rexam where she worked as an inspector. Barbara was a special lady. She had a great love of life and for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul D. Pankey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Monika Robinson (Bubba); grandchildren, Cody Giddens, Alix St-Yves and Bailey Robinson; her siblings, Jenny Lovin (Mike), Danny Pankey (Vernon) and Paul Pankey, Jr. (Brittany) and several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday May 15, 2021 at Monica and Bubba's home, 5121 Rockingham Road, Laurel Hill, NC.
