Audrey Faye Cagle

Audrey Faye Blackmon Cagle, 77, of Ellerbe passed away at FirstHealth Hospice House.

She was born on May 8, 1944 a daughter of the late Earl Blackmon and Maddie Frye Blackmon in Richmond County. She worked as a creeler in the textile industry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Cagle and son Willie Richard Cagle.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Davis and husband James; sons, Tony Lynn Cagle and Melvin Eugene Cagle; sisters, Betty Joe Stubbs, Hilda Jean Sellars, Carolyn Gunner; brothers Wayne Blackmon, Michael Blackmon; and nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe.

A graveside service will be in Ellerbe Cemetery at 2:00 pm following the visitation.
