Annie Ruth Spivey

 Annie Ruth Spivey, 88, of Ellerbe went home to be with her Lord on December 9, 2022. She was born on September 9, 1934 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Elmer James and Annie Eliza Goodman Reynolds.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Lee Spivey, a son Tony Spivey, brothers Lloyd, Woodrow Wilson, Grover Leigh(Red), Robert, William Paul, James Fred, Lawrence Wade Reynolds, a sister, Dorothy Doris Reynolds Bennett and grandson Joshua Dalton.

She is survived by Sons, Michael Spivey(and Sandra), Mark Spivey and (Caroline Spivey) Gary Spivey and (Mary Spivey); grandchildren, Laura S. and Larry   Douglas,  Neil and Matt Cochrane, Jesse Spivey, Maria Spivey, Brandon and Jennifer Hart, Evan Hart, Kim and Ramier Millar, James Dalton, Jr., Justin Dalton, seven great-grandchildren and a brother Donald Reynolds.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at Marcus United Methodist Church with  Rev. Randy Chappell and Rev. Eric Joyce officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Carter Funeral home in Ellerbe.
