Anna Belle Bowman Wilson

Anna Belle Bowman Wilson, 93, went peacefully to her heavenly home on Wednesday morning, October 28, 2020.

She was married to George F. Wilson (Cub) for 45 years until his death on August 21, 1997. Anna Belle was born in Mt. Airy, NC, on a spring day to John Samuel and Lucy Pack Bowman. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Louise Bowman Iacona, and her brother John W. Bowman. She was a member of Exway Baptist Church. Anna Belle will be remembered as a graceful and loving lady. She was a good Christian woman who was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are her daughter, Robin Wilson Duncan; granddaughter, Jennifer Renee Bullard; sister Stella Bowman Floyd, and many nieces and nephews.

“Mama is gone from our sight but we will see her again.”

Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at 2:00 pm Sunday November 1, 2020, at Exway Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Peitz officiating.

Anna Belle will lie in state at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham from 9 – 11 am Sunday, November 1, 2020.
