Ann Stedman Brown

Ann Frances Stedman Brown, 61, of Rockingham, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 30, 2020.

Ann was born December 10, 1958 in Richmond County, a daughter of Elnora Smith Stedman and the late Earl Leonard Stedman. She was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School, Class of 1976, graduated from Richmond Community College and Gardner Webb University. For many years she worked for the Richmond County Health Department and most recently for PPI Company at Walmart in Laurinburg. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Kail Brown in 2016.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Stephen Brown (Amanda), Andrew Brown and Leah Williams (Dustin); grandchildren, Gracie and Ally Williams and Timothy Brown; mother, Elnora Stedman and siblings, Kenneth Stedman, Beth Brown, Eric Stedman and Christy Groat.

The family will hold an outdoor memorial service in the shelter at Zion United Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10 am. In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, please practice social distancing and wear face coverings.
