Albert Luther German

Albert Luther German, 91, of Rockingham, passed away on April 15, 2020 at the Hermitage in Rockingham. He was born on March 21, 1929 in Marlboro County SC, a son of the late Albert Luther German and Annie Clara Milligan German. He was a carpenter and roofer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie May Grooms Radford German.

He is survived by his daughters Teresa and Elise German; his stepchildren, Ann Bass of Rockingham, Brenda Gleich of Hamlet, Kay Joyce Hatcher of Rockingham, Larry M. Radford of Albemarle, and Wanda Gail Perry of Ellerbe. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 37 great great-grandchildren; and a brother Pete German of Kentucky.

The family will have a private graveside due to the Covid-19 virus.
