Grover Wesley Lee

Grover Wesley Lee, 74, of 928 Montclair Ave, Rockingham, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at his home. Grover was born March 12, 1936 in Horry County, SC, a son of the late Austin and Ruby Soles Lee. He had served his country in the US Army, was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and had retired from Coble Dairy. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Mildred Hewitt Lee of the home; sons and daughters in law, Wesley and Linda Lee of Rockingham, Wendell and Sharon Lee of Hope Mills; grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, Bryan and Kevin Lee; and brothers, Frank Lee and Freddie Lee, both of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie McLean and Rev. Alex Perakis officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the home on Montclair Ave.
