Betty Anne Nance

Mrs. Betty Anne Waller Nance, 61 of 262 Millstone Rd. Ellerbe died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. She was born March 2, 1945 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas a daughter of Louise W. Waller and the late Charles Waller. A brother Ricky Waller preceded her in death. She was retired from the Richmond County School System as a teacher and a librarian. She taught at Ellerbe High School, Ellerbe Junior High as well as Mineral Springs for 31 years. Funeral services for her will be held Tuesday at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church of Ellerbe. Burial will follow at Ellerbe Cemetery. The Rev. Donald Daniels will officiate. She is survived by her husband Bernard Nance Jr. One daughter Elizabeth N. Ward and husband Mike of Rockingham, One God Child Suzannah Laucher, One brother James Calvin Waller and wife Pattie of Durham, One sister Bobbie W. Blalock and husband Tommy of Durham. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00pm at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
