Mable Teal Luther

Mrs. Mable Teal Luther, 82, of 107 Safie 1st Ave. Rockingham died Sunday, July 23 at Davis Health Care in Wilmington. She was born March 6, 1924 in Anson county a daughter of the late Charles and Effie Parker Teal. She was a seamstress with Watts Cleaners for many years. In addition to being preceded in death by her parents she was preceded in death also by her husband Carl Luther. She is survived by 2 sons, Jimmy Luther of Texas and Jackie Luther of Rockingham, and one daughter Sandra McLaughlin of Burgaw. Also surviving are one sister Gertrude Martin of Nevada. Seven Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren, The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm at Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham and at other times at the home. Funeral services will be private with Rev. Kenneth Benoist officiating Memorial may be made to Davis Health Care 1011 Porters Neck Rd. Wilmington NC 28411 or Hospice of New Hanover County 725 Wellington Ave. Wilmington NC 28401. Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham is serving the Luther Family.
