Kinnie Octavious Lovin

Kinnie Octavious Lovin, 65, of 370 Roberdel School Rd. Rockingham, died Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Mr. Lovin was born September 23, 1940 in Richmond County, a son of the late Octavious and Nancy Currie Lovin. He was of the Methodist Faith and had retired from UCO Manufacturing Company. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Malcolm and John Lovin. Surviving are his wife Shirley Simmons Lovin, sons, Mark Lovin of Moncks Corner, SC, Scott Lovin of Rockingham, daughters Sherry McKenzie and Sandra Lovin both of Rockingham, a sister Catherine Bailey of Rockingham , seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday in the Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe Chapel. Interment will follow in Green Lake Cememtery. The family will see friends from 6:00- 8:00 PM Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home on Roberdel School Road.
