Alice Evaleen Albert

Alice Evaleen Albert Alice Evaleen Keen Albert, 78, of Rockingham passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital. Alice was born April 6, 1939 in Richlands, Virginia the daughter of the late Archie Bascom and Ada Estelle Vance Keen. Alice was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ronald Albert. Surviving are her children, Rhonda Herndon, Ronald “Gene” Albert, Anthony Albert all of Rockingham; grandchildren, Stephanie Albert, Whitney Herndon, Brittany Herndon, Tianna Albert, Tonya King,Alyssa Paul; great-grandchildren, Devin Langley, Nathan Langley, Caeleb Sweatt, Leilani Albert King; Sister Ruth Keen Byrd; and brother, Danny Keen. The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday at Honaker Funeral Home in Honaker, Virginia, with Reverend Dennis White officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Claypool Hills, Virginia.
