Arthur Ralph Smith

Arthur Ralph Smith, 59, of Ellerbe, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. Smith was born December 14, 1957 in Richmond County, a son of the late Ralph and Iris “Nealie” Shular Smith. He was a member of Rourk Presbyterian Church, Ellerbe Rescue Squad, and had worked with Robinsons Auto Diesel. Surviving are his children, Courtney Russ (Evan) and James “Jamie” Smith ( Caitlin); grandchildren, Avery Russ, Collins Smith, and Kathryn Smith; brother, Cecil Smith (Debbie); and sisters, Betty West (Tommy), Patsy Everett (Richard), and Judy Robinson (Larry). Graveside services will be at 11 am Friday at Rourk Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Roger Webster officiating.
