Aubrey Eugene Willard Aubrey Eugene Willard, 85 of Rockingham passed away Thursday evening at Hospice Haven. He was born on August 4, 1931 in Moore County, a son of Charlie and Annie Mae Brown Willard. During his life Aubrey was a mechanic and a Truck Driver for transportation companies. In addition to his parents and siblings Aubrey was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Tate. Surviving are his wife, Dot Mabe Willard; daughters, Glenda Hatley, Lillie Kay Harward, Carolyn Carrie, Janet Langley , Velvet Walker, Annette Zapota, and Wanda Jones; step daughters, Cathy Bowles and Sherry Crawley; sons, Dale and Jimmy Willard; 42 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 25,2017 at West Rockingham United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Haber officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
