Mrs. Catherine Elaine “Cathy” Herrick 61, of Rockingham, NC, died Friday, May 19, 2017 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. She was born in Sumter, SC on September 6, 1955, a daughter of the late Jerry and Jo Ann Stephens. She owned and operated a flea market. She was preceded in death by her husband , Mr. Wendell Homer “Red” Herrick, III. Surviving are, a daughters, Wendy Coward(husband Chad Coward) of Hamlet, Catherine M. Herrick of Rockingham, a son Johnny Dean Herrick of Rockingham; a sister, Cheryl Snead and (husband Jonathan) of Rockingham; 8 grandchildren, 7 Nephews and 5 Neices. A Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Wednesday at Southside Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Ricky Jacobs and Rev. Russell Edwards officiating. Burial Will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. Family will receive family and friends from 2:00-3:00pm at the church.
