Katherine Diane Taylor

Katherine Diane Taylor, 62, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at her home. Diane was born October 27, 1954 in Richmond County, a daughter of Jimmy Ray Taylor and the late Sara Elizabeth Garris Taylor. She had worked in textiles. Surviving are her son, Robert Stephen Taylor (Ashley) of Cordova; grandchildren, Robert Stephen Taylor, Jr., Nicholas Blaze Forrester, Emily Katherine Taylor; father and step-mother, Jimmy Ray and Cindy Taylor of Rockingham; brothers, Jimmy Ray Taylor, Jr of Candler, NC, Donald Taylor ( Elizabeth) of Cordova and sisters, Jerry Driggers (Doug) of Wallace, SC, Sarah Lewis (Joel) of Chesterfield, SC, Janet Norton of Conway, SC , Brenda Bennett (Jim) of Bennettsville, SC and several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate her life will be at 2 pm Saturday at Roberdell United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Carpenter officiating. Inurnment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 12:45 to 1:45 pm Saturday at the church.
