Bishop Allen Ray Campbell, born in 1955 in Hazard, Kentucky entered his Heavenly home on May 3rd, 2017 His Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on a Sunday, May 7th, 2017 at the Highland Acres Church of God. Reverend Ancil Carter, Bishop Jimmy Smith, Bishop Melvin Shuler and Bishop Marcus Shuler will be officiating. Visitation will be held May 6th from 6pm- 8pm at Highland Acres Church of God. Burial will immediately follow service at Richmond Memorial Park in Rockingham, NC. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Carter's Funeral Home.   Allen was born in Hazard, Kentucky on November 14th,1955 to the late Harvey & Annie Campbell. He graduated from Clinton Massey High School and continued on to receive his Masters of Arts and Counseling from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary of Cleveland, TN in May of 2016. He was married to the love of his life Joanna R Campbell (Wilson) on October 23,1976; they had a beautiful marriage of 40 years. Allen served his country in the Air-force for 12 years. In 1985 he felt God call him into full time ministry. For 32 years he has impacted lives eternally. He felt so honored to be the lead Pastor of 7 churches during his course of ministry.  His family best remembers him by putting God first in his life, being a faithful and devoted husband, a loving and caring dad and papaw.  He had a passion for winning souls for Christ. Anyone who knew him remembers his contagious smile, humble spirit, compassionate heart, his hard work, vision for ministry, and genuine love for people. His favorite scripture sums up who he was so well, Matthew 20:28 " Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve." He was welcomed into heaven by his father Harvey Campbell, mother Annie Campbell, sister Eileen Wyatt, brother Lee Roy Campbell, father n law Ray Wilson  along with so many other's who he greatly impacted. He is survived by his beautiful and loving wife Jody Campbell, his son Jason and daughter in love Erica Campbell (Michigan), his daughter Jennifer and son in love Bishop Marcus Shuler (North Carolina), his 5 grandchildren Madison, Blake, Brayden, Cohen and Raegan. 5 sisters Susie Waggner (Ohio), Kim Bay (Ohio), Jeannie Camery (Ohio), Tammy Campbell (Ohio), and Salina Jenks (Ohio) and Brother and Sister n love Joel and Carlee Carter. Along with a host of niece's and nephew's.  Well Done Thy Good and Faithful servant. Enjoy your eternal awards.
