Joyce Kelly Brady

Joyce Kelly Brady, 66, of Asheboro, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Mrs. Brady was born December 20, 1950 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late John Oscar and Pauline Tucker Kelly. She had worked with J.C. Penny and retired from Merle Norman. Surviving are her husband, Michael W. Brady of the home; daughter, Lisa Burr of Rockingham; sister, Doris Kelly Norris of Raleigh; step-children, Rev. Michael Brady of Eden, Mark Brady of Asheboro, Charity Minor of High Point; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and her beloved dog Boots. Funeral services will be at 3 pm Sunday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Michael Brady officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 1:45 to 2:45 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
