Mary Alice Caddell Wilson

Mary Alice Caddell Wilson, 82 of Wake Forest, formerly of Rockingham boarded her Glory Train for Heaven, Monday, March 6, 2017 where she was a patient a Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. She was born January 6, 1935 to Ida Bell and Charlie Caddell in Monroe, Union County. She worked for Burlington Industries and Sara Lee for many years. Ms. Wilson will be remembered for her culinary skills and love of cooking as well as being an avid fisherman. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Kerney B. Wilson, Sr. She is the sister of Louise Caddell Tarlton. Ms. Wilson will be forever remembered by her four children, 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grand Children, her many nieces and nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the Colonial Chapel of the Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with her son Kerney Wilson, Jr. and Robbin K. Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park.
