Anne R. Arias

Mrs. Anne R. Arias, 72, of 129 Pine Lane, Rockingham died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. She was born April 2, 1933 in Richmond County, a daughter of Eunice Wilson Elliott and the late Rufus Elliott. Mrs. Arias was a retired operating room nurse at Richmond Memorial Hospital. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Arias will be conducted privately. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Surviving, in addition to her mother, Eunice Elliott, are; two sons, Frank Arias and Ruben Arias, Jr., both of Rockingham; three sisters, Lilli Hussey and Betty Ponds, both of Rockingham, and Ginny Davis of Rutledge, GA; four grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. Mrs. Arias was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Arias in 2005, a daughter, Lilli Arias, and a brother, Rufus Elliott, Jr.
