Joyce Harris Taylor

Mrs. Joyce Marguarite Harris Taylor, 77, of 109 Entwistle 3rd St. Rockingham, died Saturday, March 04, 2006 at Rockingham Manor. Mrs. Taylor was born November 7, 1928 in Raleigh County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Wesley Thomas and Anna Laura Mills Harris. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and had retired from Glen Raven Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Aris Taylor in 1979. Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Darlene and Larry Hudson of Rockingham, grandchildren, Heidi Huggins, Jeffrey Patton and Jason Patton, all of Rockingham, 6 great grandchildren, and a sister, Betty Jean Higginbotham of Peterstown, WVA. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel in Rockingham with the Rev. Wayne Tuttle officiating. Entombment will follow in the Richmond County Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the Hudson home, 112 Arthur Circle , Rockingham.
