Grace Hinson Wilson

Mrs. Grace Hinson Wilson 86, of Lake Lure, formerly of Rockingham passed away Sunday February 26, 2006 at Autumn Care in Forest City. Mrs. Wilson was born June 17, 1919 in Richmond County N.C. a daughter of the late Preston and Ida McDonald Hinson. She was a charter member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and later became a member of the Community Church. She was a housewife and co-owner of Wilson’s Exxon and Tire Service in East Rockingham for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther L. “Luke” Wilson in 1981. She is survived by one son Luther L. “Gene” Wilson Jr. of Rockingham; one daughter Susan Hyatt and husband Wayne of Lake Lure, N.C.; four Grandchildren Brad and wife, Ashley Hyatt of Fort Mil S.C.; Mark and wife, Christine Hyatt of Summerville S.C.; Trent and wife, Dana Hyatt of Arden N.C.; and Jeff Hyatt of Boone N.C. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 3, 2006 at 3:00pm at the Community Church of East Rockingham with the Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial may be made to the Community Church P.O.
