Ruby Lea England

Ruby Lea England, 76, of Rockingham, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet. She was born Aug. 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Furman and Edith Beason England. She was retired from Sara Lee Corp. as an inspector. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Outreach for Jesus with Bishop Marvin Taylor and the Rev. Gene Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Richmond County Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen R. Grooms, in 1974. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Vickie Grooms of Randleman; grandchildren, Stephen R. Grooms Jr. of Randleman, and Kim Regina Grooms Keaton of Franklinville; a godchild, Jennifer Lewis of Rockingham; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be made to Outreach for Jesus Dream Center.
