Leta Boroughs Lauritsch

Leta Evelyn Boroughs Lauritsch, 84, of 531 Gibson Nursery Road, Ellerbe, died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. Mrs. Lauritsch was born October 29, 1922 in Moore County, NC a daughter of the late George and Conie Trogden Boroughs. She was a graduate of West End High School, a member of St. James Catholic Church in Hamlet and had retired from Bohack Company in New York. Surviving are her husband, Henry J. Lauritsch of the home, son, Dan Lauritsch of Ellerbe, daughter, Patricia Soule of Pennsylvania, brothers, Woodrow Boroughs of Southern Pines, Duke Boroughs of Carthage, Talmadge Boroughs and Otis Boroughs both of Jackson Springs, sisters, Marie Monroe of Columbia, SC, Opal Boroughs of California, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted at Noon Monday at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines with Father John Starczewski officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
