David Buford Allen

David Buford Allen, 50, of Rockingham, died Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Rockingham Manor. Mr. Allen was born June 15, 1957 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Earl and Eunice Causey Allen. He attended Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, was a member of the Gospel singing Allen Trio for several years and was employed in eyewear sales in North Carolina and South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Allen, and his step-father, Rev. A.C. Dennis. Surviving are his son, Andrew Allen of Gainesville, Fl. Brother, Ronnie Allen of Anaheim, CA, and a sister, Loretta Christopher of Spokane, WA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ken Baber officiating. The family will see friends immediately following the service at the church and at other times at the home of James and Bonnie Campbell, 1529 Hwy 177 Wallace, SC.
