Leonard Miller

Leonard Miller,75, of 103 Safie 6th Street went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday at his home. He was born July 10, 1937 in Rockingham a son of the late Boyd and Monnie Frye Miller. He was an appliance repairman with Sears for 25 years and worked with J&J Appliance in Fayetteville for 10 years. He was a member of Outreach for Jesus Church. He is survived by his wife, Alice Sale Miller, of the home, a son, Leonard Eugene Miller of Rockingham, his sisters; Sara Whitehead and husband Harold, Thelma Huckavich and husband Jose’ and Elaine Burgess and husband Wayne. Also surviving is a niece, Linda Maldonado and a god-daughter, Sara Rose Marie Davis. A celebration of his life will be held 2:00pm Wednesday at Outreach for Jesus, with Bishop Marvin Taylor, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.
